3/1/13
1. Thou shalt box out.
2. Thou shalt work hard on and off the court.
3. Thou shalt be selfless.
4. Thou shalt hustle.
5. Thou shalt ignore stats for the sake of the team.
6. This Zag shall pass.
7. Thou shalt inspire with defensive prowess.
8. Thou shalt be the other coach’s envy.
9. Thou shalt be humble in victory.
10. Thou shalt display the qualities of a Zag at all times.
Mike Hart is our most underrated player and he’s finally getting some attention. From the depths of Portland’s Jesuit High, Hart spawned up the Columbia then made his way up the listless flats of 395 North to find himself flourishing at the diamond in the rough, Gonzaga University. There he worked hard academically and physically to become a walk-on and a team leader in both hustle and GPA. Cheers to the literal embodiment of a Zag.
For you readers who aren’t Gonzaga or NCAA fans, I promise to post something non-GU next time, but for now I’ve got a fever and the only prescription is more Zags.
